I'm Sam Brice, a self-taught portrait artist from Baltimore. For more than three decades I've been drawing the people who shaped culture and the small, ordinary moments that shape us — children at play, dancers mid-leap, the icons whose voices we grew up on. Every piece is hand-rendered in soft chalk and pastel, one layer at a time.
